Thank you for visiting my website.  I hope you find it helpful and enjoy the pictures.  You will be linked to several good sites about the breed.  Check them out for more information.
The Spinone is an avid hunter and needs adequate exercise.  They are first and foremost the family pet and do not do well kept outside.  If they do not get enough positive attention and exercise they will amuse themselves in the form of digging and chewing.
If you are a "neat freak" then the Spinone is not for you.  They shed and have been known to sling slobber to the ceiling, but if you can deal with the messiness you will be rewarded with a lifetime companion.
That sweet innocent and human -looking expression make it impossible to stay mad at them, and they know it!
Be ready for a life changing experience if you own a Spinone, and I should warn you, it's hard to own just one.

Daisy Mae
Luciana

After researching the breed I purchased my first Spinone in 1998.......
CH Ecco Domani Gateway's Daisy Mae, JH CGC--
Daisy's first breeding produced 13 pups.  Talk about a life-changing experience !!
From this litter I kept my sweet brown roan girl........
CH Gateway's Luciana JH CGC NA Prize II.
All my Spinoni are health tested prior to breeding
(OFA hips & elbows, CERF, CA, &  thyroid) to assure the healthiest pups possible.  All pups are microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and wormed before going to their new homes.  My pups come with a contract and I strongly urge people to stay in touch for the life of dog.  I'm always available if any problems or
questions arise.
